Position Overview:
PINE Advisor Solutions (“PINE”) is seeking an Exchange Traded Product (“ETP”) Operations, Associate Director to join our team. The Associate Director will support PINE’s registered fund and ETP clients by providing trade operations oversight, corporate action support, compliance reviews, and reconciliation functions. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to step into a client-facing leadership role with visibility across critical fund operation and compliance matters.

Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage daily trading operations for client ETP issuers, ensuring creation and redemption trades are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with PINE’s written supervisory procedures, regulatory standards and disclosures.
- Monitor real-time trading activity, proactively identifying and addressing any discrepancies, risks, and opportunities to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand standard order guidelines, and to obtain approval for custom order types.
- Perform detailed trade reconciliation and reporting, ensuring accuracy in records and swiftly resolving any discrepancies in coordination with other service providers.
- Leverage trading applications, proprietary oversight systems, and other software to complete tasks in an efficient and compliant manner.
- Communicate effectively with authorized participants, market makers, custodians, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information exchanges, and smooth resolution of trade-related queries or issues.
- Complete regularly scheduled and ad-hoc reporting requests, including trade activity reports and quarterly reports to fund boards, and respond to other client and compliance requests.
- Support corporate action activities, such as fund launches, closures, and material fund changes, including reviewing fund regulatory filings for appropriate disclosure.
- Facilitate legal agreement negotiations by coordinating with numerous parties from agreement initiation through to execution and setup.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market structures, regulations, and evolving industry practices to ensure ongoing compliance with SEC, FINRA, and exchange-specific rules governing ETP trading.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of trade desk procedures and documentation, promoting operational excellence, risk mitigation, and scalability.
- Regularly communicate and coordinate with PINE’s operations and compliance teams to share and promote best practices.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior operations staff, supporting team development and the maintenance of high professional standards.
- Stay informed on industry developments, product innovations, and service provider strategies, providing valuable market insights to inform tactical decision-making and client education.
- Participate in company-wide initiatives and events to promote corporate missions, brand, and client- and employee-focused approach to all service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on ETP operations preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- FINRA Series 7 registration required
- FINRA and Series 24 preferred.and 63 a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, with strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience with operations, compliance, and regulatory matters impacting pooled investment vehicles and registered funds highly preferred.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000
Work Model
- Open to remote candidates
- Hybrid preferred, working 3 days from our Denver office
- Occasional travel, including corporate headquarters or industry events
