Employee Spotlight: Sue Moscaritolo
Megan Dobransky | 27 May 2026
PINE is excited to spotlight Sue Moscaritolo, the Chief Compliance Officer of PINE Distributors, LLC! She brings years of experience and expertise to the team.
Prior Experience
Sue began her career at a Boston law firm as a paralegal in the Products Liability Department, where she worked on complex cases for one of the firm’s largest clients, a major automobile manufacturer. The legal and courtroom experience she gained there became a strong foundation for her later work in financial services. She eventually moved into Regulatory Administration at an investment management firm. Over the course of her 30+ year career in financial services, Sue has built extensive experience across regulatory administration, advertising review, privacy, and distribution.
Get to Know Sue!
We asked Sue a few questions to provide our readers with some insight into her background and personality.
Why did you join PINE?
I officially joined PINE in October 2025 after consulting with the team following the regulatory approval of PINE Distributors, LLC. Having worked with Mark Fairbanks and Daryn Levesque for 11 years, joining the team felt like a natural fit when the opportunity came up. What stood out most was the collaborative culture, supportive environment, and strong client-first mindset. I’m excited to help grow the Distributor alongside such a talented group of people.
What is your favorite movie?
There are far too many great movies to choose from, but the ones I find myself rewatching are The Beekeeper and Miss Congeniality. They’re completely different movies, but every time I watch them, I catch something new that either makes me laugh or cringe.
What is something you recommend everyone do or try at least once?
Life is short, so I think everyone should try something outside their comfort zone. I’m not a fan of heights, but I decided to go parasailing in the Caribbean, and it turned out to be surprisingly peaceful, with breathtaking views. I’ve done it a few times since and loved it every time. That said, I still won’t get on a Ferris wheel!
What are some of your favorite weekend activities?
Anything that involves family and friends is at the top of my list. I love barbecues, concerts, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and scrapbooking — really anything that creates fun memories, lots of laughs, and quality time together.
Anything else you would like to share about yourself?
My husband and I have been married for 32 years (I had to double-check the math!), and we have two wonderful daughters. I feel very fortunate that they both live in Massachusetts and are close by. They are happy it’s not too close, so Mom and Dad can’t randomly stop in. Watching them build successful careers has been incredibly rewarding.
I’m also part of a local fundraising team that supports ovarian cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. During the annual walk/race, our team proudly wears tutus and will do just about anything to help raise money for the cause. Many of the women on the team are cancer survivors, and their strength and positivity are truly inspiring.
