DENVER, April 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- PINE Advisor Solutions, which provides consultancy and support services to the asset management industry, is celebrating its one-year anniversary with plans to grow its diverse client base. Primarily serving the Denver-area, the firm has added clients in New York and Chicago and has plans to continue expanding its geographic footprint.

"We have been pleased by the reception we have received from the industry, which tells us that our services are filling an essential gap for many firms," said PINE Co-Founder Derek Mullins. "We are grateful to our clients and industry partners for making our first year so successful."

PINE was founded to help private funds, mutual funds, and investment advisors manage accounting, finance, operations and regulatory compliance tasks on an outsourced basis. Outsourcing non-investment functions is becoming more common in the asset management industry, particularly among emerging managers who do not wish to oversee such responsibilities in-house. With over 40 years of combined industry experience, PINE provides high-quality support, allowing clients to focus on their core business while keeping overhead low.

"Hiring an experienced CFO or CCO is not a priority for many smaller firms. PINE can provide institutional-quality outsourced services at a cost structure that makes sense, allowing fund managers to focus on generating returns and raising capital," Mullins said.

To strengthen the level of services it provides, PINE recently appointed Danielle Money to the position of Director of Compliance. Money brings eight years of experience in the fund servicing industry to her new role, having previously served as a Compliance Manager and Deputy Anti-Money Laundering Officer at ALPS Fund Services in Denver. At ALPS, Money was responsible for oversight of client and investor due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures as required under U.S. and Cayman Law. She worked closely with proprietary and client funds' Chief Compliance Officers, legal counsel, and fund administration to oversee adherence to applicable regulations.

"Danielle provides PINE with critical experience that will allow us to continue to deliver regulatory compliance support to our clients with confidence," said PINE Co-Founder J.B. Blue. "We have no doubt that her skill set will greatly benefit our clients."

A Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Money holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado. She is working on her Master of Legal Studies in Regulatory Compliance from Washington University in St. Louis.
