Bio

Alexander Hallenbeck serves as a Compliance Consultant on the Fund Chief Compliance Officer Services team at PINE. In this role, he supports the implementation of fund compliance programs by assisting in the preparation of Chief Compliance Officer reports for registered fund boards, conducting due diligence reviews of service providers, refining compliance policies and procedures, and helping with regulatory examinations conducted by the SEC.  

Alex has been active in the financial services industry since 2026. Prior to joining PINE, he began his professional career as a chemistry and physics educator after earning a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He later expanded his expertise by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination from Southern New Hampshire University. His diverse academic and professional background brings a strong analytical perspective to regulatory compliance and risk management.

In his free time, he enjoys running, chess, hiking in the mountains, and spending time with family, friends, and his cat.
