Bio

Ellie Yahn serves as a Compliance Consultant on the Adviser Compliance Support Services team at PINE. In this role, she provides compliance support for investment advisors and helps PINE’s clients interpret and execute complex regulatory needs in alignment with industry standards. Ellie assists in ensuring PINE’s clients adhere to the high-level standards of compliance within the financial industry through regulatory filing management, policy and procedure development, assisting in compliance training, as well as conducting risk assessments and mitigation.   

Ellie has been active in the compliance industry since 2018. Prior to joining PINE, Ellie worked for Etana Custody Inc., a Trust Company that worked primarily with digital assets, where she focused heavily on AML/KYC compliance and suspicious activity investigations and reporting. Jumping headfirst into the world of crypto has refined her detail-oriented reporting and compliance investigation skills as well as her ability to navigate complex and ever-changing regulatory landscapes. Ellie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with a minor in Art History from the University of Maine Orono. In 2023, she received her Master of Studies in Law focusing in Business Ethics and Corporate Compliance at the University of Colorado Law School.   

Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, hiking, disc golf, playing music and spending time with friends and family.
