Bio

John-Paul Nigro is a Director on the Principal Financial Officer (PFO) Services team, providing services for a variety of 1940 Act registered products, including serving as the PFO or Assistant Treasurer to such products. John-Paul provides our clients with oversight of fund service providers, guides them through regulatory requirements and best practices, and offers support for the board of trustees and committees of the funds.

John-Paul has been working in the financial services industry since 2007, including as an external auditor. He began his career as an auditor with McGladrey & Pullen (now RSM). He spent the next fourteen years working at State Street Bank, where he provided Treasury Services to a variety of different fund types, including open and closed-end funds. John-Paul brings this industry knowledge in fund administration and public accounting to guide our clients through the unique challenges of each fund. John-Paul earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a certificate of Italian Studies at Saint Louis University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, sharing good meals, and time with family and friends.
