Bio

John-Paul Nigro is an Associate Director on the Principal Financial Officer (PFO) Services team, providing services for a variety of 1940 Act registered products, including serving as an Assistant Treasurer to such products. John-Paul provides our clients with oversight of fund service providers, guides them through regulatory changes, and offers support for the board of trustees and committees of the funds. 

John-Paul has been working in the financial services industry since 2007, including as an external auditor. He began his career as an auditor with McGladrey & Pullen (now RSM).  He spent the next fourteen years working at State Street Bank, where he provided Treasury Services to a variety of different fund types, including open and closed-end funds.  John-Paul brings this industry knowledge in fund administration and public accounting to guide our clients through the unique challenges of each fund. John-Paul earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a certificate of Italian Studies at Saint Louis University.  He is a Certified Public Accountant.   

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, sharing good meals, and time with family and friends.
