Bio

Justin Long is Director of Compliance for PINE’s Adviser Compliance Support Services team, providing ongoing compliance support services and serving as Adviser CCO for SEC-registered investment advisory firms.

Justin has over eight years of experience in compliance, operations, and relationship management. Before joining PINE, Justin was Chief Compliance Officer for Potomac Fund Management where he developed and managed the compliance program for the rapidly growing TAMP and Mutual Fund Adviser. Before Potomac, Justin was a Relationship Manager with Fairview Investment Services where he provided support to CCOs for SEC-registered investment advisers, with a concentration on the private fund space.

He has extensive knowledge in risk management, compliance program design and implementation, regulatory filings, complex fund formation issues, and regulatory examinations. Justin received a bachelor’s in Political Science and Computer Science from the University of Alabama and earned his JD from Elon University School of Law.

In his free time, Justin enjoys hunting, fishing, reading, and spending time with his wife and their two kids.
