Bio

Mark Fairbanks serves as the Head of Distribution Services and President of PINE Distributors LLC, overseeing the broker-dealer, as well as business development and client engagement initiatives for PINE’s Distribution Services. Mark leverages his statutory distribution expertise with investment advisors, broker-dealers, global asset managers, and other financial institutions in support of their pooled investment products. 

Mark has been active in the broker-dealer industry since 1988.  He previously worked at ACA Foreside for 25 years where he held the title of Senior Managing Director, responsible for leadership of statutory fund distribution and broker-dealer product for several years. Prior thereto, Mark worked on Wall Street for a retail broker-dealer where he managed the firm’s branch examination team.  Mark holds (or has previously held) FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 26, 63, 79 and 99 registrations.  

Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Southern Maine.  Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities with family including hiking, golf, and skiing.
